Check this out!!! New use for 1958 M54

I met the crew when they landed and we enjoyed their company off and on for the whole weekend. They sort of destroyed our adult beverage supply. Good to see nothing has changed!!

    1939 International D-1, 1/2 ton 4x4

Not a Dodge from WWII but got a question for the old vehicle experts. Need any info you guys might have on the following. May have found an example of the predecessor to the International M-1-4, the 1/2 ton 4x4 used mostly by the Marines in WWII. No pics yet, didn't have the camera with me...

Here are some pics of the Highlands Ranch 4th of July parade. The Military Vehicle Collectors of Colorado, MVCConline.org, had about 18 vehicles most carrying WWII vets and their wives from a nearby retirement home. I had 2 Normandy guys and an Anzio participant in my deuce. We transported...

News: USAA will start insuring deuces and other MVs in the fall

That would be great news as USAA rates historically have been much cheaper for comparable coverages. Still can't figure out what has taken them so long. Hope it really happens.

Help with identifying trailer cover on M101

123mack, after doing a search as you suggested I will be definitely keeping those markings on the trailer. Very decorated unit as far back as D Day and Battle of the Bulge to name a few. Most likely mark the M37 with the same markings when I get to that point. Looks like the 506th was at Ft...

Help with identifying trailer cover on M101

Nick, its a 1961 Twin Coach M101. Isn't that style of brake handle on some older deuces?? And yes its a 1951 M37 my wife found 3 miles from the house at a barn sale. It had a spun bearing but otherwise a complete rust free truck with the CCKW type hardtop (oval window). Even a Toole rebuilt...

    XM818 trailer hook up question

Some larger military trailers have both recepticles, military and commercial on the trailer. This 1981 38' M971 trailer has both (see pics). I don't know of any M818s that have a commercial electrical hookup.

Help with identifying trailer cover on M101

Anybody know what this vinyl cover might have been designed for?? I have an M101 with racks that had no cover. I obtained a bunch of vinyl tarps and vehicle covers from GL some time back and this one was one of the items in he lot. It fits the M101 perfectly except the bow uprights are about...
