I purchased a new intank fuel pump from John Murray and have no problems the pump has been installed for 6 months. Stay in contact with John if you are not satisfied. He does not make the pumps and if there is a problem with his supplier he needs to know so he does not use that source again...
Opcom, that is an outstaning trouble shooting guide! The manuals should be that easy to understand! Mike, let us know how you make out and where the problem was found.

I have chain, wire rope and nylon slings around. I would rather use a used, rusty chain over a used nylon sling or wire rope for lifting or pulling. The slings stretch and snap like a broken rubbe rband when they fail. When the wire rope fials its not pleasant either. My...
Not sure what color to paint the trailer yet. It's been converted to 12v tail lights (light gulbs)and an M series trailer receptacle is newly installed on the pick up truck. Not sure about a tan mule Mike. I do have the bows and a green top so we may be going with USMC green on the trailer.

I was unable to cross reference the shock number from the manual (thanks ACE) but was able to match up a shock from NAPA the number is 94190 for the shock. It comes with the correct rubber bushings but you need to reuse the washers.
The master cylinder used for the surge brake is a NAPA 2796...
Anyone know the civilian equal for the shocks? I need to replace them. I also need a replacement hand brake, I will take 2 if they are available. The hand brake cables are fine. Any tan tops for the M116A2 trailer?
That light cable is most likely connected to the military towing light set up. Its a light bar with military tail and marker lights that you strap to the bumper of the towed vehicle that when plugged into the towing vehicle's trailer receptacle operates the lights.
