Well, it's about 6pm Mtn time zone. The board just jumped to WARP SPEED.
It's NEVER worked this fast for me. I do have DSL, but NEVER has it been this fast.
WAY TO GO Mangus and everyone else who helped!
Scottie, give me warp NINE!!
The deuce I'll be looking at this Sunday does not have a winch. While I do like the looks of the US military front winch, my understanding is it takes a 'soldier B' to operate it. While I will ALMOST ALWAYS will have 'soldier B' at my side (my wife), it will not ALWAYS be so. Having said...
I'm going to look at a deuce near Denver (Sedalia) this Sunday. Trango has graciously offered to go with for an extra set of eyes and moral support.
Jeff, the owner, has told me that when it went through rebuild back in 1994, they set it so it was 'diesel ONLY'. I've read here where there is...
Well, after a long year of upgrading our house, including new windows all the way around (I installed all 11 of them) and finishing our ongoing kitchen remodel, including a new countertop (installed professionally) and a new tile backsplash (wife designed it and we installed it together), my...

Says its a Bendix-Hercules hydraulic pump for $100.
What do you think of this one? I was going to bid, but decided to see if anyone else was either. Looks like I waited a tad too long.
Is the 'D' turbo motor a good one?

They APPEAR to be brand new. But what do I know?
OK, I've been reading here a while and I have what is probably a stupid question.
I've read all about the transfer case (air assist and normal and REB conversion kits) being either high or low. Can the truck be run without the front axle engaged?
I just haven't come across that info yet...
As I am actively searching for 'just the right' deuce, I have a question.
Which is the best way to go?
Purchase a deuce with a hard top and buy the soft top.
Purchase a deuce with a soft top and buy the hard top.
So, wadda ya think? What's the best way to go?
How much will a bed cover...
Does anyone out there have the 3053 5 speed tranny with the 5th gear being a .78:1 over drive?
Does it give you a higer top end? How about just normal running? Quieter?
Thx in advance. jim
Ok, here goes nothing. I know there are different sizes of fuel tanks.
Can you folks give me the amount of fuel they hold and the over all OD?
I'm trying to figure out how much fuel I can 'stuff' onto my deuce when I get it. I'm figuring one per side in the 'normal' spots. Then two more...
