    I pulled a oil filter can off the deuce and there at the bottom was a Metallic black sparkly oil,and a few small slivers of metal.The truck seems to run well with good oil pressure.and I can't hear any knock.any suggestions?

    I ended up changing the booster pump,no differance.So I replaced the IP with a spare I had.Runs very well now,i still wonder what was wrong with the one I removed.anyone ever have one rebuilt?

    Gotcha, I seem to remember talk of the gauge on your dash,but never knew where it went.very neat idea.I have a engine in can and there apears to be no FDC on it,just a cover with a small hump.

    Ok plunger tested good, about 1/4" or less of movement.with the in tank pump on I got about 8# on top of filter can port ,about 12# when cranking.Could the booster pump on the IP be the trouble?
