WH,
I'm going to have to have ONE minor disagreement with you - NOT THE SEARCH FEATURE, but the ADVANCED SEARCH feature should become his new best friend.
It has been shown over and over again that a regular search can and often does miss all sorts of things that are actually pertinent to a...
Needle, we had a great time meeting you today...
Can't say enough nice things about the folks we met and how good a time we had...
TOMORROW IS DAY TWO - it should be another day of great fun
and I'll add a few pix just for a taste
OK, they are both NEW shows.
The first one is on June 9th/10th - it's being put on by the Dallas Arms Collector Association - DACA flyer - this one is at 2200 Stemmons Fwy at the Market Center hall in Dallas in conjunction with the Gun, Knife and Militaria show they are hosting - POC is Jim...
If you ever get down to Denver, there's a club there that shares your OD insanity.
MVCC Online: Home
I know Rawlins is a bit of a distance from them, but they are great folks for sure. Just in case you ever NEED reaffirmation that you're NOT the only person who feels like this towards these...
well, I hope it went well. I'm still nursing a cold sorta...
I just want to feel well enough to go out and not feel like I'm getting everybody else sick
Hopefully that will occur by this coming weekend.
I'm hoping that you folks do this again next year. Gettin sick during spring/summer...
Any sign maker worth his salt SHOULD be able to print up any pattern you want.
You ever watch Inside West Coast Customs? The one where they put there brand on a TACO STAND. They put a film printed with WCC on it. IT was simply perfed vinyl... printed on by a printer.
I've considered these for...
I will note some ODDITIES about that blazer. First off, the batteries. Basically new. Not a big deal, but follow this further.
The exhausts ARE BOTH NEW. Now have you EVER seen them replace the exhaust system on ANY of these trucks?
The speedo is a new one as well. At least it's a six...
uscgmatt,
I disagree. the SNOW PLOW part would not be needed... lol :)
One of the reasons I originally got into MV's was because of this guys story about helping a buddy after Katrina...
Katrina Day 5: Friday, 2 September 2005
Daybreak, up and at 'em. Spent most of the day clearing debris...
How does the larger tire effect the overall speed?
Top speed? Handling? I've got 16" tires on my M1028A2 and they handle well on that truck. Not sure what it will do to the Blazer's mpg and sluggish performance.
Now if you swap in the M1008 axles with the 4.56 gears, THAT will definitely...
Wish I had known about adding the chains - one more item to add to my tow bag... and THAT towbar was borrowed. I've since purchased my own. Sure comes in handy if you need to TOW ONE HOME... Or from Denver to Dallas...
Here's my M1028A2 picking up my M1009 at Ft Riley
I pulled it home...
Rawhide,
Before you plunk down the money on any LARGE truck, realize that parts (almost ALL of them) cost two to three times any part on a CUCV. And you WILL need Soldier B a lot more with any large truck when doing almost any kind of work.
As long as that's ok by you, go for it.
I started...
Hey, I HAD to give ya grief, right?
And YOU WON A TROPHY! HOW KEWL IS THAT?
Way to go G! You should have dropped by and I could have loaned you my new pop up for shade. OH WELL, next show.
Way to score Glenn!
Dang man, I wish I was feeling better. I would have LOVED to have been down there. I'm still under the weather. I HATE A SUMMER COLD (spring cold?)...
Did we forget the mvcc sign? lol - not that you needed it for sure
looking good! - we will have to discuss a time...
If you don't mind, what ball park was the cost of that beauty in?
$2k? $4k? more???
No complaints, because you do get what you pay for, it's just my 91 Sub has 225k miles on it and though the engine is still running strong, you never know when a rebuild will be in it's future - as I intend...
Did he give you a REASON why he thought all this occurred. If it's just worn out parts and you are handy, it's just parts. They are 25 year old trucks. Most need something. SOME need a lot more.
I wonder if your guy gave you an estimate for work he says needs to be done?
