A/C interrupter switch on the front controls power to the lugs. You have to close it, to provide power to the lugs.
With the voltage problem, try to increase the voltage with the voltage adjuster knob to see if you can increase it any.
The wire that is disconnected is attached to the low oil pressure switch. It has to be connected to let the unit run. The wire that is zipped tied is normal.
1st check and make sure the fuel solenoid cutoff switch is retracting (the solenoid is located in your 2nd picture with the boot on it)...
Just FYI do not remove both pumps at the same time! Its almost impossible to get them back into the rack when both are removed at the same time.
The small spring is the delivery valve spring that goes inside the pump under where the hard injector line goes (the cap to the far right in your...
The 802a and 803a units start a lot easier than the older 00xa models. About the same hp but 2 totally different engines. The biggest difference is the newer motors have direct injection and the older motors shoot fuel into the head, then its sucked into the cylinder.
Yes several people have but if your in a cold environment, the lawn mower batteries don't cut it. 51 series batteries are the perfect fit and usually can be purchased for $78 at tractor supply.
I just had a unit with the exhaust flap missing and the motor was seized. Took the injectors out and poured transmission fluid into the cylinders, left it for a week and freed it up. Make sure your outside and away from everything with the first startup, because when it starts, it throws junk...
The remote starts are different for the 803a. I've installed several on 003a's and 803a's, the boards and components are different. Peters number is 913-728-2662 if you still need it.
Are you saying with any load connected, your getting the short circuit or as soon as you close the AC Interrupter switch with no load, it throws the short circuit? I had a similar situation with an 803a and turned out to be a burden resistor. You should be able to find the write up, if you...
That AM/VM switch your referring to, will also cause problems with the load meter since readings flow through the switch also. Make sure those connections are tight also. In my experience, 99% of the problems come from the reconnection switch.
Transducer. Easier and cheaper to just buy a kill-a-watt meter and use it. The transducers are junk and you can only buy used ones, that won't last long either.
Yep, low fuel will not allow it to start and will also cut the fuel pump off from running. Your float may be stuck, if you reach inside your tank and touch the bottom, then move your hand to the right, you should feel the float, move it up and down.
From your picture, you need to bring the Hertz gauge up to 60 hertz. Increase the throttle to bring up the hertz. Your load meter (center gauge) will not move until loads are applied.
Exercise S8, which is the reconnection switch on the back wall after you drop the panel down. Its the switch to move from 3 phase to single phase. You need to take the top cover off to see the back of S8, then spray all along the sides, as you move the switch back and forth. Also check all the...
My experience with tier 2 resets have been excellent. Pretty much everything is new; motor, generator head bearing, relays, all the switches, fuel pumps, etc. All the items that could wear out are replaced.
