So whats the solution? Surely somebody on the site drove a m1009 with a rt-524 and r 442 set in the back during their service , what did ye have on the dashplate??
Just want my setup to look and perform the same, many thanks.....
Hey 762luver, im not really after an intercom system as such I just want to be able to use the radio from the drivers seat and hear my transmit audio trough the loudspeaker on the dashplate?
I do have a spare c-2298 crew control box at home if i swap this over would i get what i want or do i...
I have just wired up my 524 set and ran the cable (cx-4723) to my intercom box (C-229) and from this i have connected a LS 454U loud speaker and a handset H-250/U.
My problem is i cannot hear myself transmit in the front loudspeaker or in the earpiece of the handset at all, the volume is up and...
I have a r-442 0n the way to complement my rt-524 install in my M1009.
My question is can i use my spare mx-6707 antenna to receive on the 442 and what way is it wired??
I know a ab-15 is the right ant but it would save me some coin....;)

Would no oil pressure for 35 seconds blow a head gasket? Engine hardly got warm?
I,ve no oil pressure after doing a rear main seal and timing cover seal change, did everything methodically but on start up no oil pressure:(
Turned off engine, checked oil sensor connection, all good, restarted engine left her for no more than 30 secs and i heared a sound like woop woop coming...
I will do as you say check the contacts of that sensor and of my gp card, batteries are CAT heavy duty and starter is good too, im still of the opinion that my problem is not fuel related as that when i know im in for a long crank on the key, i pop the hood unplug that sensor and she fires...
I am having this same hot start issue, starts on the button when cold but after warm up if i shut it down for 15mins or so i have to crank her for at least 4 seconds before she,ll fire. Today i went to start her (hot) with no wait light on and she was a no go, remembered this post and pulled the...
