I really appreciate it, taking my time and making the truck better and more useful for my needs was the goal. Still a lot of work left but at least it's a running driving truck.
If in the cab you can only aim front right, on the step the barrel can be aimed more towards the front of the truck. This is version 2.0, improvements could be made.
Some Toyota Tacoma's and 4 runners and a lot of Ford trucks come with electric locking rear diffs. Jeep Rubicons and Dodge Powerwagons have electric lockers front and rear. GM has equipped there trucks with the Govern lock, Eaton G80 mechanical locker for something around 20 years, there new...
I will get some detailed pics of the seat mounts tomorrow. They do mount to the back of the cab, the seat bottoms fold up flat too, kinda neat. They came from a military vehicle, just not sure which one. I was told MRAT, but they look nothing like other seats I've seen.
Front clip mounted, had some random rust and dent repair along the way. The cooler on front is for the power steering. I had to move it later due to the grill.
Rear tires mounted
Got the front axle in and mounted the tires, had to roll it outside after 2 years of sitting in the same spot...

Snorkel
dash installed with the new column and steering wheel with a quick disconnect
Front lift mostly done, sorry some of these are out of order
Rebuilding the axles, rear hubs where flipped, this was a mess!!!
Most of the drivetrain mounted along with the on board air hose reel.
Custom steps
Painted everything under the cab
Rust repair and fixing the crushed cowl on a third cab I found, the other 2 where too far gone due to rust
Lizard skinned the bottom of the floor firewall and interior...
So, over 2 years ago I got the wise idea I wanted to bob my M35. I pull the bed and discover A LOT of rust on the frame, it was less than 1/8" thick where the factory rear suspension was riveted on. Upon further inspection, my parts trucks frame was in great shape. This turned into a full on...
Detroit truetrac uses helical cut gears instead of clutches. It works really well, even off road it works almost like a locker unless you pull a tire. Only problem we had with one was the ring gear bolts backed out even after being torqued with red loc tite. I'm sure that wasn't caused by the...
