Well thanks for the post on the Yukons. I was thinking of a set, but now I'll probably stay with my Warn's. I've had 35 spline Warns for 25yrs on my k30 (civvy m1028 equivalent) with 454 and 39" tires. The front is open diff, but I've never had any problems with my Warns. Guess I should listen...
I think those will be quite stiff. Here are some spring rate comparisons: http://coloradok5.com/springratetable.shtml Mind you, with the 6.2 up front maybe they would be ok?
ORD has Tuff Country Easy Ride springs, and usually there is some kind of Christmas sale at the end of January. You might...
Sounds like the Valspar and Behr might be good options then. My truck sits outside 100% of the time and the Behr is doing well.
Alburms .... how flat is the Rustoleum paint?
How's the Valspar hold up over time to UV fading?
Any particular prep you do before applying it?
I used Behr solid deck stain I got from Home Depot and it has held up fairly well. Going on 5yrs now. Very minor flaking (and I mean VERY minor) in some areas to due car wash high pressure hose. I...
Yep, those Yukon hubs look like the well be stronger than other locking hubs out there. With an open front, my 15yr old Warns have never given me a problem, but I would have bought the Yukons if they were available when I replaced my hubs.
Mad4wd has some outer axle tube seals to help keep out...
Here's a good intro read on 2.5" lift. The Suburban is basically he same as our CUCV when it comes to lift.

This guy has a nice front winch mount that lets you use the factory bumper if you with some slight mods. I plan to use it on my CUCV with a 12k Warn.

Don't worry, the site is legit. He's also got it on CK5.com if any of you are members there. Lots of pics of...
This might help, from an ORD post:
for ride height, the measurement we work from the most is measuring from top of axle tube to the bumpstop mount on the frame. we figure a stock truck is typically 8.5 to 9" so a 3" lift should end up around 12".
I think with the weight of the 6.2 they would suggest the HD springs. I would call and talk to them.
Maybe the post disappeared because I direct linked? Not sure. Oh well, just visit offroaddesign. com's "Our Own 4x4" section.
I haven't seen an M37 'crewcab-ed' yet. There was a fellow who made an M37 into a 4dr quite a few years ago (15yrs?). You might find some pics on the web somewhere. I think it was on an M43 wheelbase as you propose. Maybe someone can find a pic of the 4dr?
I run the Great Lakes Offroad diff covers. USA made, lifetime warranty. You can get them in a few different configurations. The biggest feature that I like is the drain plug which is in the cover ring. I do alot of water/mud and this makes draining the diff easy if you have to do it on a regular...
I'm wanting to install turn signals on an M37. Any particular units recommended? How about this one...
M-Series Turn Signal Control S-B100/11613632-1
What type of electrical connectors do these typically use?
Yes, the ORD kit will help alot and solve your steering issues. Crossover steering AND hydro-assist (also available thru ORD) would really help your truck with 6" lift.
