    From what I've read on my CUCV research (want a 1008 REAL bad but no money... real sad...) It could be as simple as an air leak at the fuel filter or line. You would loose start up prime and could be sucking air when idling. Good luck with it looks great!

    M1009 - No lights at all, nothing except..

    My 84 K30 had the lights go bye-bye. It ended up being the bulkhead connector. No other systems were affected SOOO I just ran a nice fused power direct to the switch. Of course checking fuses, wiring, switches etc comes first.
