Here in NJ that trailer would have lasted about a day at $500.
There's 2 listed on Craigslist here for around 1k each and I don't doubt they will be gone in a week.
But I feel your pain, I took a bath on my race car and trailer when I sold it. Saw others in worse shape/older go for more but...
I gave it a shot based on the tag info. Didn't have much luck. Trailmobile is still around maybe contact them. Based on their logo I think they have a penchant for the nostalgic.
I took the OEM number from one of the vendors online and called Wilson.
The number I got from them has a 13 tooth drive.
The number you have has a 12 tooth drive per the Wilson site.
Not sure which is correct or if they're interchangeable. The TM's have multiple starters listed but I didn't...
Napa under the brand Wilson has a part number of 91-04-7824 but it is "R&R" meaning it gets shipped to Wilson and rebuilt. So shipping plus price of part you would probably be better off finding a re-builder near you if possible.
For Tie Rod removal you could try "shocking" the taper. A couple hard whacks on the side of the spindle arm usually do the trick. I've used this method to great success. Works on tie rods and ball joints w/o damage to boots or threads. I would thread the nut on a bit to catch the part as it pops...

Were you planning on running a second fuel tank? If so maybe you could pick up a pair of Mack R model "Step tanks" or such and kill 2 birds with one stone.
