As far as the gas/hydro I had an 84 k20 with a 350 with Hydro. THM 400 with NP 203 as ordered by a local DPW. My guess it was a forestry truck or such. It was super low geared like 60mph was asking alot but what a BEAST!

I used this on my oil pan. It outlasted the car. The repair was a rusty spot about 5 inches long that got that way from a nearby exhaust pipe. I still have the new pan I never got around to replacing (not a 6.2 sorry)
Stuff is basically epoxy with some fiberglass cloth. I just drained the oil...

Here's a way to save time. I've seen these on Ebay for about 100 bucks. You would need to fab lower links but it would cut down on the fab work. Shoud be fine with the light loads (and plenty of safety chain)
