Measuring up for building my own spare tire mount. (Please no commentary on why not do this, that and the other thing. I have my reasons for doing it this way. ). Am not spending $950 (or $750) on a Rhino, want my trail jack on it, etc. Everyone is entitled to an opinion of course. Just getting...
I don't want you to get ripped off and you seem to be in need. PM me. I have a wiring harness that would be way less - you just need to figure out a way to remove it. I might be able to find someone. I don't have time.
Thank you Sir. We looked at this right after you posted. A bit concerned that the hitch frame will get torqued. After you posted the link, I found a lunette adapter. Also requires fabrication but that puts the weak end away from my truck. The upside with doing something like this is that I only...
That is something you should sell! Looks like you have to extend all the way through the rubber though. Not entirely sure. Whatever the case, it might be handy to extend the concept all the way to take a little air from the tires. I don't think much pressure is needed for the tank. Probably just...
Hi,
This fall I purchased three flat utility trailers (48" wide x 114") similar to those used behind tugs at an Air Force base. I am trying to figure out how to tow them around my property with a normal truck. They have lunette rings and an extremely short throw. My concern is turning and...
Great solution. Now, the question is: You're 30 miles out, some dude in a truck just gave you some fuel to limp where there is more fuel. No air around. What do you do then?
1. Your first task should have been to drain the earl and see what's going on. You sound panicked. Don't.
2. Then if then else or ... coolant in oil? Yes, a few places where that might be coming from.
3. Search using advanced thread search. There are more than a few places that discuss coolant...
Switching out a wheel/tire today. A crack in the tire developed around the rim, it is now 30% around the circumference. Downside is that my tires have about 80% tread. Guess I'll go off to beg someone to get the run flat out of it....
There has been so much to this, so many different threads, someone needs to create a sticky. One of those tl;dr things to me almost. I've seen that you have to replace the turn signal bulb with an LED as well.
There was evidence of shearing on the one side of the larger piece or I wouldn't have made the post. I didn't know there were two versions. The PN shows spacer so you are correct (as usual! LOL)
