I know Bergstrom made the AC. The motors inside the AC for the evap fans (2) were made by Allied Motion. The 28vdc alternator is made by Leece Neville.
According to the TM, here are the proper steps.

Blow out this line with compressed air.
I had one clog on me before.....
disconnect from the tranny and blow air into it from up top.
then retest for vacuum. You should not loose any vacuum from the top to the bottom.
There are three bolts that attach the shaft of the injection pump to the engine gear. To access, you need to remove the oil filler tube. Carefully remove the three bolts without dropping them down into the engine. Once these are removed and the mounting nuts are removed the IP should slide out...
Hi,
As I tried to point out previously, the new style filter blocks do not have the pressure sensor since it is NOT needed. On the new style bases, the port is blocked off internally. No pressure sensor required. Bolt them on and they are ready to go. For the price you cant beat it since it...
So is the Tital Model #20 cap on the fluid reservoir a direct fit for the military models? I keep meaning to order one to test it...Titan couldn't confirm when I contacted them previously.
The weep hole is on the very bottom of the housing just before it bolts to the engine. Its location keeps fuel from entering your crankcase. Easiest way to check for leaks is to look in the valley under the IP pump.
As for the rest of your questions, I am not an expert on the pump itself so...
Keep in mind, if your check valve is clogged it is most likely due to seals breaking down inside your pump. When I cleaned my clogged check valve, it only took two days before my IP was leaking out the weep hole.
I should add, I just installed ( this past week ) a new filter base from the Ebay seller and it works perfectly. Bolted right up, no leaks. No pressure switch needed.
The new bases do not come with the pressure sensor as it is not needed.
On the new bases, that port is blocked off. It is only used by the diagnostic circuit, so unless you are using your STE-ICE set to troubleshoot your truck, you will be ok!
The filter bases are on Ebay for less than $75...
PTO driven generator or gas?
The PTO version uses the following TM numbers:
9-4940-562-23P
9-4940-562-13
As already stated above, these TMs are not approved for public distribution. I need .pdf copies as well. Fortunately, I have slightly used and water damaged copies that came with my truck...
Check for fuel leaks as well. The line from the tank to the primary lift pump is under vacuum and will not typically drip if there is a leak.
I've been battling a similar issue on my M1009, except it only happens when parked on an incline with the front higher than the rear. I changed my IP...
