I was just thinking that if 5 ton prices increased significantly, it would help Deuce prices. Right now it seems as if one can buy a good 5 ton at about the same price as a good deuce.
Welcome from NW Missouri. Good looking truck.
That smile on your face is what I call the Deuce Grin. Even when I don't have time to drive mine, I start it up just to hear it run and it always causes that grin.
You have helped so many people to get more enjoyment out of our hobby. Anyone who would think you were trying to take advantage of them must not know you very well. Chin up. Things WILL get better.
The truck is actually at a farm 87 miles northeast of Kansas City. I will be out of town this weekend, but will shoot you a PM with details when I return.
Congrats. I am impressed. Let us know your progress with this vehicle. If it is indeed "special", I might invite myself over to see it sometime when I am close by. I always bring wobble pop when I impose on folks :driver:
Welcome from the western side of the state. I live in the Kansas City area but the truck stays in the Chillicothe area. Not how I planned it, but. Wonderful people on this site. Lots of info and folks willing to help even the most helpless newbie (me).
Parris Island and Camp Geiger 1966. Somehow, I seem to have suppressed many of those memories. I do remember being squeezed into cattle cars, but don't remember the details of the interior.
