    PNW-M923 Recovery Standby Contacts

Edit: Wrong truck. I'll help if needed. I may be down near Roseburg that weekend, depends on the weather, I will PM you my phone number there as well. You've done lots of recoveries, so you know this, but the one thing you are likely to need if the batteries are good, is fuel filters. Stuff...

    Replacements for soldier B

I was thinking about this earlier today, considering cutting up a good truck wheel. You don't need to. All you would need to do is take a couple of, say 3/8" x 1 1/2" flat bar. Drill or burn holes in them for two studs and weld them in a V configuration down to the base of the transmission jack...

Rewiring 939 Series 5-Ton to Eliminate Electronic Controls

I have years of experience designing and retrofitting industrial control systems from the ground up. I have looked at process lines that weren't working correctly, interviewed the operator and designed new control systems that would make the process equipment do what the operator specified. I...

Rewiring 939 Series 5-Ton to Eliminate Electronic Controls

I've had an idea rattling around my head for a couple of months. I am exploring the feasibility of eliminating electronic controls from my M923 5-Ton cargo truck. I like the simplicity of the deuce and think it is possible to replicate that system on most 939 series trucks. I figure to keep...

    one year old Bio-Diesel..

No. After about six it will have oxidized. I wouldn't even put it in a muliti-fuel. Bio-diesel simply cannot be stored long term.

    m939 Battery Relocation Kit

Nice looking install Hoefler. All my MV interiors are cigar smoking areas. Soldier B is really looking forward to the batteries being moved out and making room for her new Bostrum air ride seats.

A benefit of discussion allowed in the ad, is a question can be asked of the seller and then replied to so all can see.

    Portland Area Meet n Greet.

I would probably be up for truck drags. Steve too. He has the fuel turned way up on his deuce. It goes pretty good.

    53" tire seperation

Yes, the 1600.20 tires are too close together to allow even one set of chains on the rear to pass. Put chains on the front of a 5-ton with 1600.20s and you be able to get through a lot of snow.

    53" tire seperation

Well you didn't ask me specifically, but if you want to run chains on all six you are going to have to go with 1400.20 or smaller tires. There is just no way to run chains on the rears of the five ton with 1600.20 tires. As for buying chains, Laclede in Hillsboro Oregon makes great custom...

    Exterior Latex/Acrylic House Paints

The beige I did is not a CARC tan equivalent. I don't care much for that tan and I didn't mix it up for painting a whole vehicle. It is only for a background to paint vehicle numbers on. I matched it to a very common color used for that on a lot of trucks I have seen. I like it but might...

help with starting without Starting fluid.

This thread is a classic example of why spelling, grammar, and punctuation are important, and why the spelling police are so strident about it. Do not even use "either" in your motor, ever. Either that or learn to spell simple words that you really need to know like "ether" which is what is in...

I'll bring both the 5-Ton and the Deuce if I can find a driver. Trying to talk my wife into it. "Oh Honey, I am sure you wont' die of boredom" rofl
