    New guy from FL

Understandably some get a little bent when they see nice trucks getting cut up for scrap or parted out. That seems like a great use for the truck you have though. ~Especially since I could use a set of front springs, bolts, and hangars! Looks like a fun project, and anything we can keep out of...

1600-20 Spare Mount on M923 Cargo Truck

There is only 15" between the bed and the air intake on the drivers side. I think the air intake will have to be moved forward and the grab handle mounted on it [Young Gun idea] to make this work. Or the bed will have to be moved back a couple of inches.

Thanks! That is exactly what I need it for, and I planned to get the adapter as well. Big help!

    New Top for the M923A1

That is a great looking truck Barron. I bought the same top from Poppacom but am waiting to install it until I get the convoy lights mounted so I can stand in the bed to work. Question for you, would you pretty please go out and measure the overall height of your cargo cover from the bed? The...

M932A1 with shorter drop side deuce bed

I like the looks of what you are doing. I have been trying to figure out a way to make my 923 fit in my driveway so I don't have to park it in the street and move it every 72 hours. It could stand to be 3-4' shorter. More photos please!

Attention!! Please use caution when driving vehicles home from auction!

That looks safe enough to me. Can't see every detail of hitch, lights, safety chains, and load strapping but it looks OK. I would haul it.

    M939 P2P Program On SS

Great information, thanks for putting it up there with good instructions. Q: Do you know of any way to get it to print out the diagrams besides making a screen shot?

Removing steel just inside of doors

Without doing the design work for you, I do think that reinforcements could be fabricated for both front and back that would not be in the way of your feet getting in and out of the cab. Perhaps tubing brought up from below and tied into the rest of the cab or frame somehow. It's doable.

Battery Cable size for Kill Switch

Nice work! Can you please post a link to where you bought the keyed switch, or better, what brand and part number it is?

Removing steel just inside of doors

Most likely your doors will sag and bind over time. You might get away with removing most of it except for leaving an angle gusset in the front corner to support the door. How that all works will have a lot to do with how and how much you use the truck.

Deuce broken down, clutch will not engage HELP!

Looks like you guys had fun. Thanks for the photos. Especially the last one.

Deuce broken down, clutch will not engage HELP!

As the Head of Dog says, you may be able to put it in low low. Push the starter button and off you go. If you are experienced in shifting without the clutch, you may be able to get home with it. If there aren't stop lights and signs and stop and go traffic. I don't know about now, but back in...

Would this look Lame?? Your Opinion Please

It looks fine, and much better than the gaping hole. If you want it to blend in more, paint it green. After thinking about it a bit, I can't think of anything that would look better there either.

Battery Cable size for Kill Switch

I posed the question earlier of why it was important to break the negative side rather than the positive. I understand it now and am going to change my setup. I didn't realize that any 12vdc was being used on my m923 until I put a battery disconnect into the positive side and the heater fan...

1600-20 Spare Mount on M923 Cargo Truck

I didn't try to extend mine yet. It was rusty and pitted. Things get all froze up when these things sit with no use. I like your idea. Pictures?

    Florida to Missouri, M923 pickup

Well I have had several wives that I would have gladly traded for that truck you have, but the wife I have now thinks the trucks are just fine as long as I keep them out of the flowerbeds. Hope you manage to keep it, it is an unusual find for the price/condition. Try making it pretty for her...
