It happened last week too. Not only did I get two emails saying an auction lot I was bidding on would be extended, but a GL rep actually called me and told me the auction was extended due to computer issues.
I thought it was a pretty decent thing to do, and costly to do as well. I think they...
It would be helpful to see the female plug and the pin readout.
3 pin? 5 pin? Could go to an air conditioner/heater or a distribution box, but without seeing specifically what connector you're talking about, you're probably just going to get guesses.
Gary, I wonder if that Ice Age storm front we had here in Ga. had anything to do with it.
I know these machines are designed to withstand a Wisconsin winter, but they have been parked in the South for most of their life, if not in the desert.
Very nice. You even make the rust look good with the lighting and all.
The red splattering truck is kinda creepy though. It makes me think of someone getting hit. Yuck!
What kind of camera are you using? What kind of lens?
OK, so, I used search and it brought me to this site and a couple of others to get the answer.
Yes, the MDT-465-1d engine supposedly had a better head gasket design with better head cooling.
It wasn't perfect and still had issues, though the argument could be made as to whether it was better or...
Was your engine the -1c?
I have the -1d and I understand the improvement to it was an improved head gasket. I'm no expert so was just wanting some additional experience, or comments.
So where's the classified ad?.
What is the problem with installation. I would have thought you just take the wires off one and put on the other.
No? Probably something about combining the voltage and current meter maybe?
What about the freq meter. Is it ready to go?
Can you tell we're getting...
All folks need call your insurance company prior to pickup. Some companies will automatically insure you for most any vehicle giving you a 30 day grace period, PROVIDED, your primary driving vehicle in your household is fully insured in your name. And if you call them and set it up, they can...
Just curious, what is the hazard if there is a failure in one of the two MEP-002s.
If the VR went out and voltages fell from 120v to 100v, would this create a house brownout?
Any other risks?
You mean 25 years and newer?
Oh, never mind me... Just splash the coffee in my face kinda day. I can't figure out if newer goes this way of 25 years or that other way.
Disregard this post. I'm going to find another cup of coffee and just shut up.
Just buy one of each, a bobbed deuce and a regular, and try it yourself. They each have something to offer for sure, but you'll never fully understand it or why unless you do it yourself.
Some things you just don't get by reading in a book.
Only good if you want to salvage parts and scrap it. You could make a few bucks but you would have all that labor into moving and dissasembly. The winch might be worth it alone but I can't really see it and you don't know if it's good or not.
With the auction over, post up the auction link and let us look at it. You'll get better ideas that way when someone had something to look at. Personal experiences with that particular model too.
Well, actually, you can thank Andrew (Patracy). I will be getting much of it from him this weekend in a HMMWV trailer tailgate sale. ;)
Thanks Steven for all you hard work. You have been carrying the load. I know Zout, PB, and others have been a lot of help.
Good to know there are people like...
