I am beging to think I didn't get the fuel pump primed well enough, I will try again tomorrow and force feed it a little and see if it will pick up.
And my solenoid on the starter was sticking first few times, but then it quit, hopefully it will be good to go
Yeah, kinda got that figured out now, I got the motor cranking this evening, but I am not getting fuel up to the secondary filter, we rebuilt the fuel pump but something is amiss as she is not pumping, Ill pull it out tomorrow and see what I can learn.
It is pumping oil to the head=good thing...
Mark I found the picture I need in TM 2320-242-20 pg 2-99 under engine removal, it is figure 2-55, my tm is on digits so the pic is not very clear, do you have a better copy? thanks
I'm all in for m38inmaine and the goat, he really oudid himself on bringing this truck back from the dead,
Not only is he a great ss member I hear he smells good too![thumbzup]
So vote for Mark's goat!
Mark, take a look at this pic, on the inside of the gov cover, mine has two roll pins, does yours have 2?
The one on the right is what is keeping it from going to no load, with the cover off the rack works as it should.
Thinkin about taking out that roll pin and see what I got.
