Found this in the local Pick a Part. I'm not sure what model/version it is, but It must have been military at one time. Most of it is there. The seat frame and springs in the bed. The funny thing about it is it's location in the yard. It is presently in the "El Primo" area. "El Primo" is for...
33x12.5x15 on mine. Had a suspension lift done for two reasons. The right turn rubbing and the suspension was shot anyway. Had to install a short wife assister step.
I’ve have become accustomed to the sound of the glow plug relay cycling. The click I heard was nowhere near as loud and only occurred as I turned the key. My wife said she heard a click as well. I don't doubt her. It's my firm belief that she can hear a cricket walking on carpet in the...
Performed the "Doghead" conversion this afternoon. It may have been the easiest electrical project I've done on the truck so far. Am I crazy or am I hearing the relay "click" during start up? :???:
Bought my M1009 in April of this year for $3400 from a company that leases/rents military vehicles to the studios. So in a way I've got a movie star in my driveway!:p
I did throw my wallet at it a couple of times, but it has been a great truck...so far.
Got the gas nozzle in the fill hole on my '03 Ram with Cummins and was about to squeeze the handle. Luckily I caught myself before I really screwed up.
Any truth to the claim that fuel/gasoline pumped in Oregon will give better MPG than fuel/gasoline pumped in California? CA gas is full of...
This guy has sold alot of military vehicles. Everyone that I've seen listed by him has had the same spray paint rebuild done to it. Just look at his EPay feedback. Click on the item description when you find a listing for a vehicle. Unbelievable.
The places around where I live don't have Blazers or Suburbans to pick over. Unless of coarse you want an S-10 Blazer, then you're in the right place. All of the places I've been to charge a buck to two bucks to get in. It's been that way as long as I can remember. Probably to cover the small...
I have the same underdash light and it works. Does anyone know if there is a red bulb available to replace it? I plan on installing a couple more and want to use red bulbs.
My M1009 had the same problem when I first got it. It would have to be nearly redlined before it would slam into the next gear. Vacuum module on the transmission was shot and most of my vacuum lines had degraded into mush. Replaced these items and made a minor adjustment to the shift points...
That is a sweet lookin' trailer! At the risk of being rude would you mind telling how much the winning bid was? My wifey has kind of given me the blessing to go after one and I'd like to know roughly what one costs. Thanks.
I prefer the camo look myself. Camo gets a lot of reactions from people...a lot of thumbs up or nods, compliments on my sweet hunting rig though I don't hunt. The majority of the time it's all good. Occasionally you do get a good god what is that thing? When it looks all faded it's time for a wash.
