What regulator are you speaking of on the injection pump?
Do you have a reference for theis "screw" for turnng up the fuel?
I have the TMs and will research but if someone has the figure / item number that would be great for me (us).

In reading the TMs and the various threads on the CUCV vacuum pump I can find no pass or fail reading for the pump.
It seems like there should be a minimum reading for the pump by itself.
Logically the pump should be capable of at least 20" HG if the vavle adjustment tells you to pull 20" on the...
The OEM speaker holes are already cut into the top of the dash right, center, and left sides.
The door speakers will get wet as it rains on your truck.
The rear speakers in civy trucks are mounted behind the rear seat in the side panels but they don't work very well for the driver.
I have had...
I went on line last night to one of those web sites that has a GM mechanic
that is available for questions.
I was told that the engine driven fuel pump is supposed to have 7 to 11 PSI output @ idle.
Does anyone know if this is true?
I can't find a reference for that in the -34 TM or in the...
O.K., I returned from NAPA and the 1983 1/2 ton truck with a 350 gas engine mount is exactly correct. NAPA p/n 6021179 fits just like it should, or at least for the M1009 truck.
They did cross the number GM p/n 459021 from the CUCV -34P TM and it matches perfectly in case anyone else needs...
I was able to contact an old NAPA store and they swear that the CUCV / GM p/n crosses to one of their's so I am off to go pick it up.
I will post the results after lunch (central time) when I return home.

Did a search and for and found one thread from 2007 for the question.
The front motor mounts for a M1009 CUCV are different than a civilian K5 Blazer with a gas or diesel.
The NAPA number is 602-1251 for the civlian truck and the CUCV (Chevy number is 459021) but the bolt pattern for the three...
I called the company in Texas and they only have two distributers for the military paint and they are both in the US. RAPCO & Army Jeep Parts.
They do not know of anyone in Europe that could help but as Chris noted there are a few companies that advertise paint for MVs.
If this is true then it...
I am formerly giving up on RAPCO for this mission.
I just spoke with the only other distributer for this brand of paint
who is Army Jeep Parts in the New England area of the USA.
The cost of shipping 4 gallons of paint to Europe is upwards of $1,000 US dollars and therefore cost prohibitive...
He prefers land & sea method anyway but thanks. I ran into the same similar readings.
I am just about to give up on Mark. Surely there is someone answering the phones while he is out IF he is out.

Along the lines of your switch, I replaced mine too for the same reason about 15 years ago.
I turned the switch upside down from the way the military wanted it and repinned the connector on the back so all the wires
are in the same location as oriented to the dash board as before but on the...
I could send him one of Mark's new spray cans and he could have that matched but I think that he does want the 4 gallon kit.
We'll see what Mark says in the AM.

Dudek,
If you PM or e-mail me your e-mail address I can call them and ask them to e-mail you.
They are just north & west of Dallas.Ft. Worth Texas.
I can also explain to him what you want and ask him about shipping to Poland, etc., or I can just have him e-mail various quotes to you...
Off topic but for your new-to-you M1009.
These vehicles are built to DOT standards but are EPA exempt so when they want to Smog you tell them no thanks and show them the sticker on the radiator support that says "EPA Exempt"...
It is also very close to the exhaust manifold no matter where is is positioned so that is always a concern. It is always a hot wire too as this cable is directly connected to the batteries through the miltary buss bar arrangement.
In my case that is what caused my last OEM starter to finally go...
While the basic oil is good for fuel as dicussed, aren't the additives somewhat bad for the seals?
I would think that perhaps a 70 / 30 mix with the 30 being gas or kerosene or diesel being slightly better just to dilute the additives in the ATF.
The injections pumps are very costly to...
