New to the family.....M715! New pics and updates! Now finally finished!

Last week I picked up a 1968 M715 that I've been in contact with the owner for quite some time. Finally decided to pull the trigger and I'm glad I did ! Great shape, runs sweet, and literally rust-free! Needs some love and lots of little things, and I'm finding parts are quite hard to find. BUT...

Also installed the radios and mount, I did not actually hook them up electrically as I don't intend to use them. Also cleaned the...

Requesting expert opinions on if this M38 is a good choice to buy

The MV market is getting kinda ridiculous last few years. People want money, and everyone thinks that because it's " old army" it's worth thousands or is a rare " collectors item". Maybe too many TV shows or something. I'm always looking at what folks list for sale and can't believe the junk...

Question about MRAP wheels to super single....

So do those CTIS valves have a valve stem in them? And do the adapter plates need a cutout for them? Sorry but I'm just not picturing them

Question about MRAP wheels to super single....

Ok, I'm fixing to super single my deuce, and I'm most likely going to use the Mrap wheels with adapter plates. Now, with those wheels, I see there are 2 styles, the aluminum and the steel. Seems the aluminum wheels are lighter and quite a bit cheaper BUT they have the CTIS valve on them. Is that...

    Shorter Steering Wheel Shaft?

Just install one of the smaller diameter steering wheels from the 5 tons. I did exactly that, gives more room and not any harder to steer.

    Top 10 Deuce Modifications

Get them from "Jatonka"....they're a canvas boot kit that goes around the shifter and tcase levers to keep drafts and noise out. No idea if they're "issued" but they look like they would be. Cheap enough and install is easy. Work VERY well too
