Guys, I have a question for the group here that I'm sure someone can answer. New Deuce owner here and I'm glad I bought it. My question is :after going to a few shows I find myself looking at the 5 tons and thinking .....crazily........it might be fun to have one. And I see SO many of you folks...
HUGE opening around the steering shaft where it passes thru the firewall. I haven't been able to find anything, does someone have this part or am I left to make something?

I'm considering going to the smaller 18" size steering wheel in my Deuce for space considerations. It doesn't have power steering, I know it will be a bit harder to turn but I still have some "juice" left in me :lol:

Today I re-installed the drivers wiper air motor that I removed and cleaned. Pretty much all it needed to work again, and also installed 2 new 12" blades and all wiper air hoses. Wipers working the way they should, next will be all brake hoses and remote brake fluid reservoir.
Negative, that's incorrect. Mechanic here with over 25 years exp. ALWAYS a little toe in, keeps the vehicle from wandering and helps " point it" down the road straight. No more than 1/8" total toe in.
