GL no longer processing trailer titles ( m1101)

From what I understand now, the state of New Mexico is requiring receipts for all materials used to "build" a trailer someone wants to title as homemade or shop made. So if you have no receipts, they will not title it. At that point you have to get a bond to get it titled. This is according to...

I found some flashers at fleetpride. I bought new ones when I switched to led bulbs. Think they were 16-18 dollars.

A gift of a life time.

Not trying to be to nosey, but what price was the previous owner asking for it? Looks like somebody had a lot of time in restoring it, and it being a rarer truck.

    M348 Camper conversion

I plan on doing a rv conversion on one of my M373A2 trailers. One thing I like about the M348/ M373A2 type trailers is the low overall height, helps get under those low hanging tree limbs.

M923 axle movement dog bones or?

Have tried searching the info out but, no luck. Have an M923 that the intermediate axle has enough movement that the inner tire (left or drivers side) touches the spring pack when turning to the left. The dog bone bushings look no worse or no better than on several trucks sitting next to it. I...

Issue with LCI Truck at Fort Bliss

Had a local (El Paso) spring / suspension shop owner look at the truck today. With in a minute or two he tells me that all the torque rod bushing are bad Plus the center point bushings are bad. All of which is going to cost over 2k to fix. I looked around at some of the other trucksan M934 and...

    M936 no power

That M936 looks very familiar! On flat ground I was running 62-63 according to the Speedo. Did not have a GPS to verify it tho. On a good size hill they do bog Down quite abit. Its a heavy truck, and with all the BII in the tool boxes full of fuel and a truck in tow, don't plan on getting...

Steel Soldiers MV of the month - May VOTE HERE!

I knew if we kept nominating that sweet M52A2 it would get its well deserved spot as MV of the month! I Do prefer the picture of the M52A2 and M127 with the two M151's on the trailer. It just seems to do more justice to such a nice truck!!! Congratulations vtdeucedriver!

Issue with LCI Truck at Fort Bliss

Thank you Carnac for taking the time to go and look the truck over, taking the photos , and posting this thread. I was running late to pick up the truck, and it was already quite hot that day. After a pretrip inspection I had noticed the spot where the tire had rubbed the paint off. I pulled...
