I am not stranger to re-engineering things. I actually enjoy the challenge. Considering the limited to non existent after market support we get for these vehicles we have to be willing and able to make other components work. I am no shade tree mechanic and I put a lot of thought into my builds...
Buying complete RV's will be an issue until I get home and we move. I cannot strip one where we live now. Plus, I need duplicate and triplecate parts for several trucks I am planning biulds for.
Some one brought something up to me I had not thought of before. RV’s have a lot of the parts I am looking for. Is there a place in the South East that sells them?
Oh yeah, yes this is MV related. If you stay tuned and I locate the parts I seek you will see how.
What are the common issues that M915 have and how are the issues permanently resolved? Also, what king or spare parts are good to have around for this truck?
I sure would like to get that commando. but I have way too much going on now as it is. Hell, I am not even home and I have projects piling up. You are not that far away from where we go to visit family.
That Camando has my attention. I have always wanted one of those. My family lives in Greene County, are you near there? They are about 30 minutes or so from Johson City.
I see them over here from time to time mixed in the various military units. I have also seen them being transported with other US equipment. So yes, the Army (is not other branches) do use them.
