Just thought about it, 18 wheelers don't have a drive axle in front, and they have power steering so the alignments set up different and they only push with the fwd rear axle, so that gets rid of alot of the scrubbing and stuff we deal with. And he said he rotates them often.
I mean this stuff works, and honestly, we had probably 30-40 hills here on the lawn and common areas, and were always getting stung.
Well thats the thing, i think they prefer my vehicles over the ground cause there are no ant hills, anywhere, but god forbid i have a soda can open and run into...
What about ants? not so much this winter cause they seem to have gone cause of the cold, but this past summer it was an all out war just to keep them from nesting in the cab. I opened the door one day to find about 3 or 4 piles, each 2 tablespoons worth, of eggs and babies in different stages of...
Wow this thread got way off topic. So would your truck go past 2100 rpm in any other gear? Mine started doing something very similar, it would pull hard up to 2100 then drop off, shift to next gear same thing. cruising 5th gear would slowly work its way up to 2200, start pulling a hill though...
A buddy of mine at work said he had the T831s on his 18 wheeler and put a couple hundred thousand miles on them, i know thats mostly straight down interstates but he said "they don't wear".
can't answer the question, but i've never thought about doing that, that buzzer gets annoying. quess i'll wait to see if it causes any problems 1st before i try it though.
i had the tailgate down to drive in and out w/ my tractor to load the dirt from front to back. i said harder not impossible, just had to push hard while someone else closed/locked tailgate. being that the sides are hinged they flexed out a bit is all.
I have a drop side and i would say if you have a choice go for the drop side, it does what the std does but if you need to you can drop the sides. example i had a full load of dirt, drop sides made unloading it 10 times easier.2cents
