When you lower one end (rear) of a spring 8inches it does move the axle FORWARD.
You are pivoting the axle on the frt hanger, its simple geometry.

I would have never thought of mounting a radio right next to the generator.
I guess you could only use it when the generator wasnt being used ???
Looks like there WAS an antenna on the upper right corner of box.
Its the forward most box on pass side (where cutting bottles go).
They are only about 2 feet long, next to the generator.
