I picked up this genny in a trade deal, so I don't have much in it.
I have been reading all the old threads here on the 18 and have learned a lot already.
Just one question for other 18 owners, for now. Looks like the Army was running 15/40 in it when last in service, is this a good choice for...
Are those the lines on the tractor?
Looks like they are, if so I think the hard lines on the parts goat I have access to are in good shape.
If you are not in a big hurry I can probably stop and check on them later this week.
Haven't done much lately, Christmas and all that goin on.
Both of my boys on leave(Army and Air Force) and came to visit so I have a house full of folks.
Merry Christmas to all goat owners here.

Motor progress, looks like new inside with no wear at all that I can tell.
I have at least 6 valves that are bent, I think I will just replace them all.
Check motor timing again and slap it back together, should be good to go.
Well I decided to go the replacement route so I went up to Ft. Chaffee this morning to salvage the hood off the parts truck.
Had to get my wife to help me, now that's a debt I can never repay if you know what I mean.:D
Got the hood home, it had a few problems. The dvr side corner was broke and...
