does anyone have a copy of the old airpack rebuild "ERROR" sticky that is now among the missing? i believe that it will help a few members with their deuce brake problems
THANX!
answer to my own question, but i will leave this to help others out...
when you rebuilt the airpack according to the tm, did you see the warning in the stickies about the error in the tm? the tm has the small cup being reversed from correct. which makes for an exciting few minutes of lots of pedal and no brakes. i suspect that this error in the tm may be your...
just to jump in with my worthless experience. old gas runs fine, you want to mix it with some diesel or wmo or something, because the duece is not super happy with all gasoline anyway, but +1 on not wanting to chuck $150 of fuel, so at todays prices is that like a 5 gallon can?

since the black helicopters seem to be everywhere i go, i think its them
i probably should not mention this.
i suspect they actually have a top speed of about 120 miles per hour, but they have to be falling out of an airplane or helicopter with out a chute to achieve that. and i am just guessing, the motor will not be the point of failure. :grd:
not to be difficult or anything, but......if gasoline is so "bad", why is there not one bit of note to that effect in any of the tm's? there is a specific warning about aviation fuel, but not one word of caution related to gasoline.
i have never driven mine on straight gasoline, but i have...
yah, QUICK!
like 4 friends each with an air wrench. :)
it looked like the valve would kick in when the filter popped forward which would mean all 4 bolts out
FOLLOW UP
i finally just opened up the filter housing to see what the filter looked like. since my tank was drained, there was only a little mess. the system did seem to have some kind of valve that would have stopped the flow once the filter had popped out, but...it would have been a huge...
