    TN license plate question

This is directed to TN residents, how do you register your trucks? The regular private passenger motor vehicles tag states for "cars, station wagons, vans or pick-up trucks up to ¾ ton rating and 9000 pounds and under in weight." With my M35a2 I am definately over the 3/4 ton rating and 9000...

The search for my first deuce continues... Thanks for all the advice but I decided to pass on the 300 mile recovery. It has no turbo or air shift T/C, and is just a base M35 and have read enines in those were not as reliable as the a2 models. But if anyone is looking for a clean, low milage...

Finally! Boss says I can have one...

Not having any luck finding a local truck. I have lowered my expectations to a low mileage with a winch in good condition. Closest I can find with a winch at a decent price is 300 miles away. Besides the basic tools, jack, and extra batteries (from my m1009) any thing else I should bring if I...

I have a M1009 in great mechanical condition with 22k miles. Problem is the body is seriously rusted. Not just surface rust either, major rot. Exterior, interior, you name it. Was thinkin about doing a body swap with a normal K5 blazer as a donor. Anyone ever done this? Would I be ahead just...

    CUCV Replacement battery

I called my Interstate dealer, and the do not have blemished 31's, only refurbs. And they only have a 90 day warranty for $47. Is it worth it to gamble with refurbs when i could spend an extra $30 and get a 7 year warranty?

    CUCV Replacement battery

Another quick stupid question, if it has 31 in the model number does that mean its a group 31 battery? I think the walmart battery was like 31fd or something similiar. Does the "31" in the number make it a "group 31" battery?

    CUCV Replacement battery

Been searching the forum for a replacement set of batteries for my M1009. From what I have gathered group 31 is a good drop in civi replacement, and group 65 will work with a 1 1/2" spacer. While at my local wally world the only group 31 I could find was a marine battery. Has a 7 year...
