You might try calling GM Trucks & Equipment in Laredo, TX (956)726-9260.
I don't know if they are parting out any of these trucks but they seem to have alot
of the M915A1's that came from the Saginaw, Tx lots. They are mostly singled out on the rears and missing parts here and there. The...
I was looking at the Pics of your truck form the GL link. What you should do is confirm that the drive line is in place! I could'nt telll from the pics. Your trucks front lifting shackles are not in place which means it may have been tow barred. These trucks (as you may know)
need the...
What you might do is see if you can locate a SS member close by that has a M915A1 or a like truck that could tow bar your truck out of the lot and to a more suitable place to work on it. Don't forget the air lines from the lead truck to your truck for the brakes. Its sounds like alot of work...
Correct the tail lights are three stud and mount flat. Mirrors I didn't see a part # on them.
The Muffler in the exhuast system Says " Nelson 133". Hope that helps you out more!
Great looking truck, I have wanted one for about 12 years, never have been able to find one close by, and since there wasn't to many made that doesn't help either. Hopefully some day I can get my hands on one. [thumbzup]
I just went out and looked at my M915A1 and the head light at the top says 2D1 General Electric sealed beam. I don't know if this helps but there it is. The tail lights have a number on them PM4421 and they look like they are wired in No plugs. Agian Not sure if this helps?
Yeah, its a guessing game, having to judge from the pics whats there and whats not. Thankfully my M915A1 had 20 or so pics posted in the GL auction
so it wasn't so hard to tell. And not being able to inspect before hand due to the distance to the truck makes it rough. Its the chance we take...
Here is some pics of my M915A1 recovery. P.S. I would try to gather the parts you need
A.S.A.P. as far as your EUC is concerned. When I won my M915A1 it was my first EUC submission, so I thought I have atleast 2 months +/- to wait for the clearance. EUC was
submitted to Battle Creek 10/4 and...
You are correct Sir! That was exactly where the photos were taken. I purchased the trailer at Basin Pipe & Metal (Larry Berry's place). The trailer
had a 150KW genset mounted on the bed and came out of the University
in Las Cruces NM. One of Larry's partners wanted the genset but wasn't...
I just picked up my M915A1 in Topeka Ks, ten days ago. There was 7" of snow when I arrived. The 6TL batteries were shot so a quick trip to the Interstate Battery distrib. for new batteries and
the truck fired right up (wind chill factor was about 10 below so I froze my a** while changing the...
Here's a couple picks of a trailer I just picked up to haul my deuce on behind my M915A1.
Its a 1951 LaCrosse Trailer built for the Navy Dept. 32.25' long with a 39" lower deck
height.
