The M915A1 I won in Topeka has 137,9xx miles on her. Some of the other trucks that sold there had a little over 200,000 showing. I looked at one that sold on GL recently that only had 258 miles showing (it had been reconditioned in mid 2007) that was a sharp truck!
Hello,
I am considering my options of having my M915A1 Truck Tractor hauled to me rather than picking it up. It is already off the the installation at a towing company, and storage fees are adding up. If I could possibly have it trucked in reasonably, I would prefer to go that route rather...
Well, I cant get off from work to recover the M915A1, so I have a friend trying to see if he can find someone to recover the truck and store it for me until I can get out there to pick it up. It looks like I wont be able to go until the first part of January :-( Thank You to the members that...
Gentlemen,
If everything works out I am going to recover my M915A1 in Topeka on December
3rd. Are there any members around Topeka that could assist should the need arise? I should have everything needed to recover the truck, but better safe than sorry! I going to take US54 west back to New...
Hello,
I am wanting to know if anyone has any info/ tech manuals or anything in regards
to a Lacrosse Semi trailer Model DF6T-33F. Its a 387" long step deck flatbed trailer
tandem axle Made for the Navy Dept in 1951? I have a photo or two that I will upload sometime today. Thanks!
Glad to hear that the trailer deal worked out good for you! Where I am at it seems these trailers are pretty scarce. I am actually talking to a fellow SS member
about an M871 trailer and its over 500 miles from me!
Was that the trailer that was on Ebay? I considered it if it was but I rather find
one closer to me, and I like the M871 more.. I have heard that diesel or even used diesel oil works very well, but I haven't tried it myself.
Nice set up! Its kinda like some of the semi trailers having two lights systems for military or
civilian tractors. Versatility! I'll probably do that with the two M101A1's I just won.
There is one here in New Mexico about 40 miles from me. Its still powered by the gas engine. Its painted white with a blue hard top if I remeber correctly I haven't
seen it up close but it looks kinda rough. The owner wants 8500.00 for it, last time I talked to him anyway. He says everything...
Is the one in the second photo you posted for sale? How much is it if it
is? Does it have the side board kit? Are the tires radial or Bias and do they
have good tread depth? Thanks!
Thanks for the pics! They all look great! I don't know if I really need to go on up
to an M872. I think the M871 would do fine for my needs. How many M871's do you have? Do you have one for sale? Again Thanks! Brandon
Gentlemen ,
Does anyone have a photo(s) of an M915A1 coupled to an M871 Flatbed trailer?
The reason I ask is I am trying to convince my wife on how bad I need an M871
to pull behind My M915A1 Tractor. So far she just says you don't need that! I was
in hopes a good photo(s) of the set up would...
Thanks for the info! I probably would not even of thought about that! Does anyone have an extra TM for the M871 Trailers? I am looking to get an M871 variant to pull behind my M915A1 Tractor.
I missed a pair of M52A1 Tractors in New Mexico afew years back. They were used by loggers to pull chip trailers
out of the forest so they didn't tear up their Peterbilt road tractors. They were in rough but restorable state. Also they
had an M52A2. I was trying to work a deal on all three but...
Headed to the store in afew minutes to do just that! Maybe I'll get just as lucky and
win the jackpot. Then I'd have so much OD iron sitting around that I'd have my own motor pool!
WOW!
I dont even remember what model of Cat it was for sure. I just happened to see
it and photographed it. But I do believe that a JD 710 is bigger/heavier than the
Cat in the photo.
Yea, I'm surprised they cleared so fast! The only thing I can figure is I already
pass the Federal back ground check for my Haz-mat endorsment on my CDL,
(I have heard that that don't make any difference, but maybe it did in my case).
I dont know maybe I just got Lucky? Maybe I should go but...
