In the process of retro-fitting the guards for my A3. I put Overson hubs on my truck.
Need to cut back the shield and weld the two ears that attach to the hub back on
and they will attach on top of the hub. No photos yet, plus the Overson hubs are configured a little different.
Mark/measure, or count the exposed threads before disassembly. The nut is rather special, is has a round face that mates with the lever arm, helps with centering of the cable, also has self locking feature.
Find two cords, I have 3 swingfires and no cords, hardest part that I've searched for. Gave up a while ago. Even tried to find the connectors and fab the cord myself. I think the Germans only made, like 9 of those cords.

Mark,
As MW stated I stock the Baldwin filter kits, sound like you got the oil filter adapter taken care of, I also stock the spin on filter adapter to replace the left hand fender fuel/water separator, you will need to fab up a attach bracket and reuse the fittings from the stock housing...
Source a replacement harness, they are available, you'll need the under dash/instrument harness. A little up front cost will save you a lot of aggravation and possible "issues" down the road.
TB,WOW,What a trip, it's doable. Add a little Diesel Klean ,or ash less 2 stroke oil, to the fuel. Keep an eye on the rest of the fluids. Take pictures, be safe.

The Minimum Equipment List (MEL), contains the list of equipment that may be inoperative and still allow an aircraft to be dispatched. Your truck will need all it's systems operative to operate safely. As for tools and spares; follow the BII listed in the back of the -10 operator's manual...
