Why would you not need a cdl with a 939 series truck? All the same rules apply to a 939 as they do a mtvr.
If there's an exception for driving a 939 series truck without a cdl then it would apply to the mtvr as well.
Which is why the op is asking about putting the mtvr cab on a deuce chassis.
If the plunger isn't going up and down then it isn't going to pop the injectors. The plunger in the hh is what builds the pressure to pop the injectors to spray fuel in the cylinders.
so either there is still a problem with the hh or there is a problem in the pump body.
Put the light switch in service light position (headlights on) and then turn the 3rd lever (bottom one) to park.
As far as your other lighting issue you could very well have a short.
Did everything work correctly before you switched to leds?
If you orient the clamp head correctly it shouldn't come off. I put the inner clamp head directly on top of the axle. I have yet to have one pop off. I also replace the screw with a stainless one and add washers on each end to keep the screw head and nut from pulling through the clamp holes.
I'll be the Devils advocate here and say the a3 isn't that bad. My huge gripe with the a3 is the super low top speed of about 50mph. However, bob it and put 14.00-20s under it and your cruising at 60 mph. The cat engine is light years ahead of the multifuel. In just about every way...
Unfortunately I don't have a close up picture. But, you may be able to enlarge these and see what I mean. Also you can see what the bead looks like using 395s and 14.00-20s on A3 wheels since you asked me about this the other day.
All you need is a brass elbow and what's called a tank valve (you might call it a valve stem) and possibly a bushing for the tank valve. Eric's has the conversion kit as they call it and the price is pretty good. I did all 7 of mine this way. I'll see if I have a picture on my phone.
Actually in my case it turned out my ip needed rebuilt anyway. Governor weight broke off.
As far as what's faster. Swapping injector pumps is probably faster if you had one on hand or a local rebuilder. Is it cheaper? Absolutely not!
I had a governor weight break off on my ip. That caused my engine to surge when I wasn't on the throttle. Luckily it didn't damage anything when it happened. Got my ip rebuilt and haven't looked back.
