Mntsnow's recovery and building of The Beast

Actually didn't do anything to the Beast this weekend but I did pick up Sides/Bows/Cover from Gunzy for my 1968 Johnson 105-A2 trailer. Other than the Cover having been lightly used and stored dirty it's in perfect shape (nothing a bit of cleaning won't take care of) and the sides & bows are...

Charge 12v batt in 24v truck

Fairly easy to also put in a battery isolator with the 24v/12v converter so the 12v battery gets charged while the motor is running but then the 12v battery becomes isolated from the 24v battery bank so the worst that will happen is the 12v battery gets totally depleted (since the solar can't...

M939 Knuckle Boot Poll RUBBER vs SILICONE

I currently have GI Rubber but when I do my next boot replacement I'm leaning towards trying the silicon version as hopefully it will be less prone to cold weather cracking

    M923A2 with up armored cab

CTIS Tire WIll Not Air Up, Even at the stem?

Yep there is a 99.99% chance that there is a Valve Stem in the wheel that wont take air via the CTIS valve. This is also a cause for the CTIS system to not work as a whole (5 flashing lights after it cycles)

With you saying the fluid that came out was nasty I would say check your Thermostat for being stuck/clogged closed AND since you stated you are not hearing your fan kick on you need to check your shutterstat
