    My non-rebuilt/non-reset BMY 923A2 has no serial numbers on the frame that I can find. Only serial numbers found are the two data plates on the passenger side dash.

    I think the -10 manual really needs to be read... I see there is another thread dealing with this as well. The "3 lever" light switch (on the dash) needs to be on to allow the "turnsignal" switch (on the steering column) to receive power to operate the turnsignal lights

    Davo. That's really what I'm basically after too in the long run of things. I live in the mountains of Utah so eventually getting the trans to hold a gear into the upper rpms, hopefully allow me to enjoy the beast that much more.

    if the lever is stuck you might need to get a replacement light switch. In the classified there is a member selling NOS switches for a good price.

    I'll be driving it much more this coming weekend. Currently attending the Interop conference in Vegas returning home tomorrow afternoon so it's just parked at home but it's so much nicer than when it was stock! I'm looking forward to straight-piping it soon as well!

    Remember that all rebuilds are not the same.....Not all the same parts are rebuild/replaced.... Bottom line is that it is best to do a site visit and checkout the truck(s) you are interested in or arrange for someone else to do it for you if not local to you..
