Deuce fuel tank on Cummins PT

The deuce uses a 1/2" line out of the tank, how much bigger is the line on your truck now, I couldn't imagine it to be very much larger than that.....also I know the IP in the deuce will pull fuel just fine if the in tank isn't working, so it is more of a lift pump to help out, it doesn't push...

Which is the better first truck.

Well, I would look at it like this. Do you have the mechanical ability to do what ever you want to the truck? If so than just buy a regular deuce.....start to drive it around, IF you find it is a little too big to manage(give it at least a month if you aren't use to big trucks) you can always...

    GSP's stupid question thread!

The plug by the alternator might just be worn out.....the 2 wires in that plug are for, 1:exciter wire to make the alternator "charge", and the second is used for a volt gauge(or light). You can tell which is which with a meter, or a redneck power bulb(a marker light socket with a bulb in...

    single 5in stack

Why how interesting, I am in the process right now of upgrading my exhaust to a 5"......I'm starting at the turbo with 4" to a 4" x 4 1/2" elbow then a short piece of pipe to a 4 1/2" x 5" elbow out the fender and putting on the 5" stack........I can tell you that with the stock "j" pipe and...

    2013 Haspin fall rally

Hey Sparky, I use house water system filters.....first one is a 20 micron and then the final is a 5 micron......no sense going any finer than that. The final filter on our trucks is a 6 micron....and gas station fuel is only filtered to 10 micron(just so you know). Been filtering mine that way...

Best I know, NO you don't if it is for personal use ONLY......no hauling stuff for friends for gas money(that is technically "for hire"). Plating might be a bit of money though, I don't think your truck will be old enough for Historical plates.......also hope you have a place to park the truck...

    charging & brake question

Most of the time it is an easy fix.......just look at the pic above and remove the screws holding the cover on, then it is plug and play.....(most of the time) once in a while there is a soldered connection....

    charging & brake question

Brake fill depends on what model of Deuce you have........A2, like said remove bolt holding the flap on the floor......A3 then yes remote reservoir.....it is on the firewall in the engine bay. And no the alternator is NOT putting out enough......should be in the 28 volt range when...

1967 m35a2 stalls when ran for half hr or so please help

A couple of things.........I think you have a bad fuel filter(s) and the "pump" not working is adding to the problem.......nothing you can do until you fix those FIRST. While you are waiting........look over the site and learn "WHERE" to post your threads.......this should have been in the...

    Battery's not Staying charged

Sounds to me like one or both of your batteries have a bad cell in it......If you have one bad battery it will drag the other down with it. Take them back to where you got them and have them checked out.....or if you ordered them, go to Autozone, they do it for free.

what did you replace your 3" heater vent hoses with ?

That's exactly what I used.....you will find that it goes on way easier than the stock stuff.....no fighting at all. Pull the instrument cluster back to get at the hose clamps easier also.... I didn't stretch it out all the way so it is a little heavier....there is plenty of it in there to do 3...
