The cheapest set up I have done is to run a 50 foot air hose to a second tank then run a hose to your gun, with one of those small in line water traps on there.
That said, it all depends on how humid the air is and whether you drain your primary tank regular......the main way you get water in...
I went to Menards and bought the aluminum drier flex vent......I think a 10-20 foot was only a few dollars. The stuff worked great, did the same thing on my last truck also.
There is a pressure switch under the dash in the main air manifold, it activates the buzzer, which is electric. The air switch might be what is causing your problems, could be sticking.
If you look under your dash you will find a square box mounted to the firewall, that is the buzzer, follow...

I can assure you that a LD CAN be run with a turbo installed and the fuel pump NOT retimed........My old truck had an LD in it with a turbo and the Injection pump was still timed to the LD settings........Now it also didn't have the same power as a LDT but it ran just fine.

So, let me get this straight......you have a truck with the parts that need new hose.......you have a tape measure.......WHAT'S THE PROBLEM?!?!

Like said, the roll pin had to be the biggest gremlin in that equation. At least like you said you have the right ones, so when you fix it, it will be right this time.

Well than, if a drivers fuel tank is in the works, than by all means you need to move the spare(I also did that on my last truck) I can say without a doubt a 395 is NOT something you want to put into the bed.......unless you have a hoist of some sort:doh:
So back to the idea of a swing gate...
