I have a 923a2 that developed 3 tires that leak down over the winter. It was fine in the summer, but once the cold hit they all 3 go pretty flat within a week or two. I unhooked the CTIS on those tires to rule out something on that side and they drop just as quick. I have the correct O rings and...
They do drop. Paying just over half of what it was a year ago is a pretty big drop. Just bought a pump from them too. Surplus water pumps, brand new in crate still, that dropped about 25% off first asking price over the last couple months. Just like any other business they get tired of inventory...
I held off on a purchase because of the price and looks of what they had. I purchased one for just a little more than half of that amount just recently. They are pretty proud of what they have for sure, but as inventory sits the price comes down.
Well based off of info learned from a contact at Adelmans that is where all the recent lots of engines ended up. Capeprep that is why you haven't gotten any response from trying to contact them. They have no interest in a private sale.
I don't blame GP. I blame stupid people! The prices on some of the 400hz units were crazy. I'd say some are in for a surprise when they try to use them. GP is doing a better marketing job for sure. But even the ones listed as non runners bring more than I paid at GL. And there was a point where...
They were high. But GL was a lot more reasonable on almost anything that GP. GP must think there is gold in some of these units. I wish prices would come down. I'm not buying anything at the current rates.
I checked that. I actually pressurized the filter housing with a filter off the unit. It was leaking from the gasket around the filter, not coming from the lines or the bleeder screw. Just a poorly machined piece was my guess.
I had one leak on a unit. I tried 3 different filters on it and it still leaked. The base the filter sat down on when tight couldn't have been flat. I replaced the housing and no more trouble.
I saw one on fleabay. He was starting at like 17K for one on a trailer!! Who in their right mind would pay that? I'm sticking with my 803a unless one would happen to fall in my lap. Prices at auctions, even on the 80x series, has been crazy.
I have a pair of 803s I switch out for day use and 831 for nighttime. The 831 won't fire the AC but a 5kw would. One of those 1030s running at night and fire a second in the day would be a pretty sweet setup.
There was a lot of 13 engines that sold today. Only went for $3005. I put in a low bid, but I have no use for that many motors and didn't want to pay to ship that many. To bad you can't get in touch with the winner of that! Looked to me like remans or new.
All I have left is two for my personal use. Most of the generators I sold buyers wanted one. I sold them with the units for $100 since I was making my $ on the unit
