Got it fired up today...after installing the third starter. Turns out 2 of my spares have bad solenoids on them. Starters would start to spin and then kick out of engagement with the flywheel. Anyone know of replacements for these? Hate to buy a whole new starter to have as a spare when the...
It is 3/4 stud for sure. Just not sure on the pitch to order a thread chaser. Is it 16? I didn't check but are the wheel studs the same as the lock studs or is another chaser needed?
Fixed a tire that leaked badly. Rust all over around the oring. Guess I should do the other 5 soon too. Anyone know for sure that the thread size on combat wheels is 3/4-16? I want to buy a thread chaser to cut the rust off the threads
Ok I have a strange one for you. I have a parts 802a that has been robbed of most everything of any use. It does still have an engine and voltage regulator in it. What I'd like to do is put 24v to the starter and a fuel pump and start it to see if it is a viable engine. What I don't want to do...

PA is terrible for any out of state guy pulling a trailer. Commercial or not they will pull you over and ticket you for something. I'm only an hour away from the Western border of PA and wouldn't take a trailer of any sort across that line for any reason.
I could put it in my press and pop them free I'm pretty sure. But even if they were free I wouldn't use it without a rebuild. It's just faster and easier for me to throw another engine in it rather than screw with it. I may throw some evaporust in those 2 cylinders to see what happens before I...
So I finally got around to swapping motors last week. It wasn't bad at all. It took about 8 hours I'd say. I ended up with a used engine for $700 to put in this. With purchase price being low as beat up as it was it will still be a worthwhile investment.
I did it a little different than...
