Yup get a pyro and turn that fuel up! I have mine cranked pretty good and it's a new truck now. Pulling out in first is almost stupid but I do it anyway. I can't wait to get my 14.00r20 on and actually keep up with traffic on the highway.
Your going to get vapor out of the engine all the time but that coolant has to be going somewhere. If it's not in the oil it's probably burning it in the cylinder. A small leak like that might not produce enough white smoke to be noticeable. I'd call kublos and see what they have to say...
You don't need one but you can run one. The tm says to use the ports on the filters to test pressure. Personally I'm going to run one cause I'm running alot of WMO and I want to watch filter conditions. I will be tapping off the bleeder port on the final filters or putting a T into the hydraulic...
So today I did some research at work on the valves we use for lift axles and different operations on the trailer I'm going to get the valve pictured below. It's a 4 port 2 position valve. A supply goes in port 1 and supplies port 2 while port 4 exhausts out port 5. When the pilot is pressurized...
Same muffler I have and I love it. Took some getting used to cause I love the ldt sound but so nice when kids are in the truck to run to town..... no hearing protection required. If I was going for a long trip I would still wear ear muffs but it's alot better. I plan on swapping back and forth...
Thanks guys.....
Number one I hate green lol..... and I want my truck different. Plus I was walking through walmart and saw the quart of paint on clearance for $8..... couldn't resist lol.....
And to be honest I never got to the rot today. I was up till 3 am trying to figure out how in the...
Ok so the engine is painted. The underneath I'll have to get better once I start doing the axles. It turned out really really good. I'm extremely happy with it. It was just cheap bbq paint from Walmart in a quart that is sprayed with my harbor freight hvlp gun. The only thing it isn't flat black...
Ok so now that I've found what valve your using that is what makes your system work. I have the road ranger shift knob and the A5000 valve is the missing link to make this work with a dual acting cylinder. I can't do It with my valves cause they won't let the cylinder exhaust from both sides...
What kinda of slave valve did you use.....
I'm still trying to figure this out how you did that. I have been pondering this for awhile. I can't do it with my valves cause when it's plumbed to be NC and then switched to open the NC circuit doesn't vent pressure.
Just finished cutting my hoses for tomorrow. It's 1 am and man am I beat plus I have a pretty bad sun burn which sucks even more!!!
All new rubber hoses...... Used 2" for the coolant hoses and 1 3/4" for the water manifold. Napa hose for the lower radiator. 5/8" for the heater core/coolant...
If i could figure out a good way to seal a steel tank to prevent corrosion i would weld compartment into the m105 bed the width and depth of the wheel wells cause I'm going to put benches in that spot and tool boxes probably could store 20 to 30 gallons of water maybe even more. If that won't...
Yeah if you saw my build thread I'm there lol as far as I'm going to get anyway..... i will do everything possible not to pull the cab. I'll be painting the engine compartment tomorrow morning.
