thermostat problems Ok so I started another thread because I was afraid some might not look in my mod thread. I got my truck well engine all buttoned back up today and cooling system filled. I have about 7 1/2 gallons of coolant (50/50 mix) in the truck. I got it fired up and ran it for about...

Oh i miss understood what you said..... you said you pulled the injector pressurizing to 10 psi so i assumed you pressurized the cylinder.

Yeah but your pressuring the cylinders pushing the coolant out so if you have hose leaks while doing that you have head gasket leak some where.

I was going to go with a springer base on both front seats but not that I think about it i think I'm just going to solid mount all of them. Truck was that bad and with better seats would be even better. My springer is pretty stiff to begin with. Idk I just don't think there is enough room to do it.

Do you pan in solid mounting your seats or using springer bases for the front?

So I got my air compressor wrench in the mail (didn't have time to make one) and went to take on the pulley so I can put the new belt on...... didn't budge even with a 4 foot breaker bar. I had to use a puller to take the pulley off the compressor then put it in a vice heat up the split portion...

Yes sir it was..... I didn't even have a winch driveshaft in the way. I used a long ball hex socket.

Good move.... That thing is a PIA. I just cleaned my engine and I didn't notice a milky residue on the oil cap.

Yeah i was going to use 95%/5% argon/co2. My little 110v Lincoln does a awesome job on sheet metal and exhaust.

Looks really good. What wire and size are you using? I was going to give .030" bare wire a shot since it's mostly sheet metal work. I should have my front end back together Friday and plan on cutting the cab saturday.
