Only when registered as a regular vehicle, Antique is a flat rate.
Also they should be able to fix anything that is wrong, without cost, happened to one of my vehicles, added an extra zero, so I was clocked at 43,700lbs. missed that till we went to insure and the broker was ??? a little...
I would say occasional wood hauling is fine, the law states that PRIMARY use of an antique vehicle is for public functions(cruise nights/parades etc.), maybe don't load it as much as you would like/know it will comfortably haul.
biggest thing would be insurance, most classic/antique insurance...
see your in Keene, I'm just south in Troy, holler out if you need any help, Don't know much, but a second helper with some knowledge is better then the helper who doesn't know squat!
yeah my dads CJ2A lost the condenser on the way back, we forgot to pack a spare, so got towed backed. Had all the tools though, go figure.
anyways, lots of fun as always, next year the deuce will definitely be ready, this year had gone by really fast
You Jinxed me!,
probably not, but first insurance didn't go through because I am not the holder of the primary insurance on my Cherokee, minor set back, was pretty ready to get that pushed through this morning.
second, I have two oil leaks, one for the oil filter, top gasket weeping just a...

little short walk-around...in the dark cause it was now 9pm
also shot with the phone, so the video doesn't sound great(at least it didn't to me)
I'll drive it a wee bit tomorrow, but I should be fine to go to Weare:driver:, doesn't look like any of the...
Thanks, I saw that, missed the. Section on pages 155-157 though.
I did however get it to run, was probably 90% wires. That is probably caused the resistor to fail.
But between pulling the cover so many times, I was leaving the rubber boots off, and I saw it was actually arcing in the cover...
Umm, can't get a good read on input voltage, gonna check grounds after work.
Coil is 24 volt, have installed all new components, so everything in the truck except resistor is new, got all the parts from White Owl. All the parts seem to be nos, not any new manufacture.
I've never run a truck...
Doesn't appear to be cap, but new resistor might have burnt up-shorted out somehow, was piping hot. put old one in, never got hot, but the spark is pretty weak.
but I'll give a brief rundown of how things are going.
So tried again last night after it cooled down, no good, still misfired. So I...
I don't know what time exactly but me and my family always leave by 8 am the next morning, we like staying the extra night because of the auction Saturday night.
Video I put together, first part is before the Ignition tuneup, was a whole lot worse then the first-first startup. lots of misfire. second half is about 10 minutes after driving it around, I forgot to turn on the dash cam. I drove it initially, but it started giving me problems...plus I haven't...
Bringing this thread back as it is the one that keeps popping up, BUT I am trying to get regular civilian plugs, does anyone know which ones cross reference to the waterproof, Autolite 2245, or the Champion XMJ17? can't seem to figure it out using Google. engine is the Reo OA-331.
Thanks
I'll get pics and videos tomorrow, will be pulling her out of the garage. Fired her up again since...well I guess early April was the last time. slight flutter, but could be bad gas-didn't smell great.
I do have to fix the rear turn-signals, they are reversed, so will pull the plug on the...
well couldn't find the plastic washer, well every size but the one that fit. Almost same thing with an O-ring, but got one that fit decent, installed it, seems to be doing fine, bled the brakes, didn't seem to seep any
I will do a final brake inspection tomorrow, make sure everything is up to...
Here's a picture of the cap(I have two, one from the master originally in it, and the new one I installed)
I'm gonna see if I can get an o-ring, and/or find one of them plastic washers
Sorry, wasn't real clear in my post, the copper gasket is leaking, because of the remote reservoir install I did.
The cap looks just like all the other ones for the later multi-fuels. The copper gasket is about an 1-1/4" id 1-1/2 od
I tried all the local stores, saw a post here that some...
