an evil demon bought it on e-bay using my logon, and i would have felt bad for the seller if he got stuck with a bad sale. no....she did not believe me, but i did tell my wife that was what happened. actually, i bought it cause it looked like fun, it is.....except for the wife whining, i doubt...
muffler? it's about the noise and the green and the vibration and the NOISE, and the noise. invite your neighbor for a ride, then he will get it. if not, take his wife and kids for a ride, they will get it and tell him to chill
the other day, a guy said there was a mv mechanic in reno named "gene". he is supposed to be a great "duece" guy. anyone know who he is? how to get ahold of him?
thanx
dan
beautiful work! thanx for the update.
now if we only had water in nevada. i guess since i bought my dogs a wading pool and my horses some sprinklers, i should get my duece a pool so it can "swim" :)
most of the dueces selling have either "flat beds" or bows, covers and troop seats. what is the "change in value" for a communications box van? up? down? the same? (this one has the electrical, but not the desks, etc.)
i may need a second duece because my one is lonely.
thanx
dan
suddenly after using my duece in a parade (university of nevada reno homecoming, pictures this week, happy princesses:), i have a bunch of grease (just kind of oozing out around the edges) on the inside of the steering knuckle and a beautiful spin art on the inside of the wheel on the drivers...
RE: Re: RE: Battle Damage
you don't have a "before deployment" picture do you, that is really trick! fortunately, a few days at depot and it should be back to 0 miles.
omfg,
this really good friend of mine retires after 30 years as a cop. goes across the country to pick up his dream car, a little pro street dragster. proudly drives his wheelying little baby around the block a few times, then blips the throttle pulling it into my shop, the throttle sticks and...
looking at the positive, the brake test was successful, and the brakes are functional, operating correctly, and fully capable of stopping the trailer :)
devilman, i googled it really quick, and it seemed like it was about $30 to $50. i did not dig really hard, but sure did not see $15. but, you are the parts guy, so i trust your answer, actually, it is probably not worth rebuilding a $30.00 part.
jones, which fit and material is correct? is this the "exact" nos part? i have seen some discussion of rebuild kits for the tw-1, if it is the exact part, maybe a few minutes of rebuilding would "git er done".
thanx for the answers, the tm is surprisingly non commital on this part of the circuit
has anyone "rebuilt" their front axle air switch? i don't see any clue how to do it in the tm, and everyone i have asked if "they have one in stock" has said that they rarely sell them. so i am guessing that somehow mine is the first one to leak (which i doubt) or that there is someone who knows...
doesn't that sound like a bad (sticky) switch, as opposed to a brake problem? can you hook a ohm meter to the switch with no wires hooked to it, and see if it is just a "draggy" switch.
sorry if this is somehow crazy, just a thought from an electronics geek.
gbooth
genius, pure genius!.
i was trying to figure out how to build a low "tug" hitch for my duece, never thought of addind a high lunette to the trailer. i guess i will just have to be more careful about dropping the tailgate on the pickup when pulling the horse trailer.
good deal!
hello
i know that there are a few guys on the site who sell m35 parts. my poor head is swimming, just when i think that someone is "playing straight", then they jerk me for some part (for the record, no one i know to be on this site). who is a good source for "the little stuff"?
i need
