    antenna?

The scanner should be able to use most any antenna as it is receive only. You can tune a MX6707 to work with a CB or you can buy a SWR meter and an antenna tuner and use almost any antenna you want with the CB. Here are the instructions for tuning the MX6707 to work in the CB frequencies.

    Deuce vs neon

Drunk people shouldn't drive. Good thing she crossed the line when she was beside you and not just in front of you or she would have spent the night in the morgue. Glad no one was hurt, perhaps this girl will spend some time in jail and then rehab and God willing she will stop drinking and...

    Tailgate window crank assembly question

I had to rebuild mine after it failed. Took a few minutes to figure out how it all went together. The window crank parts are made out of soft metal that fails continuously. The tailgate makes accessing the cargo area a pain. All so I can remove the top and leave the interior exposed to rain...

    CUCV Saga Continues, Need HELP!

Multimeters are less expensive than batteries. Did you check the voltage on the new batteries? Just because they are new does not mean they are fully charged. That being said I agree, it sounds starter related.

    Newbie needs help and advice

Having a working truck is a good thing. You can convert back when time and money allows. If the truck is well maintained it will retain value.

    M1009 Transmission Issue - newbie

It could be as simple as the vacuum hoses that feed vacuum to the transmission. There is a short one that links a hard line to modulator on the side of the transmission. Trace that hard line back up to where it changes to rubber again. Replace those lines no matter what but that simple act...

    Newbie needs help and advice

If there is no connection between the front positive and rear negative then you do not have 24V. Sounds like your system has been configured for 12V either before you bought or by your mechanic. Being the cynical person that I am I suspect your mechanic installed two standard grounded case...
