    newb...with good idea..i think

When you drive through water deep enough to cover vents (like axle vents) those things being vented take on water which means after fording you have to change the lubricants that are now contaminated with water. That or extend all of your vents to the same level as your snorkel (or at least...

Nice trailers. It looks like they both have the newer beds.

    mep-002a a/c reconnect switch

Spray it down with an electrical safe lubricant, remove the knob and use a wrench to work it back and forth until it comes free. Think of it as trying to remove a brass bolt. It will come free with some lube and some work but get too heavy handed and there won't be anything left. You could...

Delayed recovery conclusion, finally! Lessons learned...

Here's another vote for cheap magnetic tow lights and ty-raps. I had to rewire my cheap lights as the taillight circuit activated the bright element.

    M1061a1

I thought I had read somewhere that the towing capacity of the deuce was 5000# offroad and 10000# on road but at the moment all I can find is this from the TM 9-2320-361-10-2006 M35 Operator Manual.

GOOD RECOVERY Got my 003a and 116a2 home

Sweet score! When you fire up the generator DO NOT idle it, take it straight to service speed. You may know that already but I thought I would mention it just to be safe. Someone on here (I apologize for not remembering your name) mentioned using lawn tractor batteries. I am thinking I will...

    Chinese Headlight adjustment assembly

My question is: Are these junk because that is all the chinese can manufacture or are they junk because they were built to the exact spec's of our good american brothers at NAPA and autozone?

    Buying a Deuce Blind

Luke, Use the force...... I have bid only at nearby sites off of pictures. Been blessed so far. The deuce I bought was driven from KC to Jeff City 6 months before I drove it from Jeff City back to KC. Mechanically it is in great shape but it does need painting.
