It's actually a C whistler turbo. The stack is normal size, just about 3' longer than stock. Even with the extra stack height, it stll drones terribly. I am condsidering routing the stack out the back.
Thanks
Dirt
Thanks Cougar. It's a 1974 with the standard LDT. I kinda like the looks of the bridge plate letters in yellow also, although "46" is way over my weight limit. LOL
No, there are no vibrations, and the smoke is black gray. I was hoping someone would climb on their passenger step and make a video of their truck idling so I could hear the difference.
Yes, water does get in the stack when it rains, but it sounds like that even after a 45 minute cruise down the highway. I don't feel it's a big problem, but am concerned.:driver:
No, it had already been started and moved. It really doesn't feel or act like it's missing. Just sounds like it has a missed beat every revolution. Each cylinder's exhaust runner is hot like they are all firing, I was thinking that maybe I had a weak cylinder or something.
I don't know what it...

Same problem here. I backed the 109 out of the driveway, and then pulled in close to the shop... set the brake like a good soldier #1. I then proceeded to procrastinate a few jobs, and then went to back it up. NO JOY. Parking brake is probably screwed. It will drive forward though. In fact, the...
Carc is some kinda tough. I've tried sanding it, and it just laughs at me. I don't want to go to the metal, just remove runs and rough spots before I repaint. Any suggestions?
I thought it would be neat for us all to show our knobs. :-P Gear shift knobs that is.:driver: Here is the one I made out of a Jack Daniels cue ball I bought at the Distillery in Lynchburg Tenn. last year.
tm america. Don't confuse my remarks to GreenJeepster as making myself allied to you in any way. If you think so, then you may want to reconsider. You want to know why? Your endless ranting is getting real old, and you write like an illiterate sixth grader with a bad Napoleonic syndrome. I, "for...
I ALWAYS see you guys going.. well you should have done this or that...or this is better then that, you know then YOU DO IT! He made a workable cheap ez to use mod. END OF STORY![QUOTE}
Westech, is this directed at me?
