I know this has come up before, but I can't find the answer.
What are the absolutely, for sure, CORRECT NAPA part numbers for the primary & secondary fuel filter gaskets?
Well, now that I've got a trailer, I'd like to put a cover on it.
Anybody have a decent used cover for sale? I really don't care if it's green or camo.
I have plenty of bows.
Thanks,
Eric
Guys,
I just bought a trailer, described by the seller as a "decontamination trailer".
I only looked at it briefly, and know nothing about it.
Looks like an M105 trailer with a whole pile of stuff on/in it. Apparently has a generator of some kind, as I saw a panel marked 120VAC, 208 3 Phase...
I really need to replace the fuel filter in my M813. The priming pump on the dash is jammed in.
Can I just fill the filter can with fuel before installing?
Any other ideas how to prime?
Can/should I just repair or replace the primer pump? Anybody ever done it?
Thanks for any help guys.
Eric
I have ALL the components to install a winch on a multifuel Deuce. Recent takeoffs from a running truck. But now I have another Deuce with a winch, so I'm thinking I want a winch on my M813A1 more.
Anyone with a COMPLETE 5 ton winch setup they want to sell or trade?
Would have to be within 500...
I've done a lot of brake work over the last 49 years (since I was 13) , so I generally know what to do when there is a problem. But this time I'm not too sure.
My buddy drives our '52 M35 all the time, so I never really look it over. He swears that before our last parade he topped-off the master...
I would really like to replace the electrical temp & oil pressure gauges with mechanical type gauges.
Anyone ever seen any that would fit into the stock gauge panel & look somewhat original?
Thanks!
No place for FREE in classifieds, so I'm putting this here too.
FREE!
Insulated winter CARGO cover for Deuce. NEEDS REPAIR. Canvas is torn in spots.
Has plexiglass window with zipper covers.
If you want it, come & get it. Weighs 200-300 pounds. On a pallet. I can load with forklift.
If not...
A buddy needs a 5 Ton wrecker hauled from Lansing Michigan to North Judson Indiana. Pickup in 2 weeks.
North Judson is in NW Indiana, about 60 miles south & a little west of South Bend.
Anyone interested?
Eric
Picked up a second Mite this past weekend. This one is actually all put together & it runs! Needs paint & some work.
Although I saw these in VietNam, & have been assembling one for a couple of months, Sunday was the first time I ever drove one.
Kinda like a BIG go-kart!
Had to put it in storage...
Anyone know if a Mighty Mite can be flat-towed?
Or can it be towed with a tow dolly?
Over 1,000 mile trip.
I really don't want to rent a trailer or pull the axle shafts unless I have to.
Thanks,
Eric

I need some help, guys.
Need to get a heater in my most recent Deuce.
I'm tired, & just can't figure out what is probably a simple problem.
I have a SouthWind model 10530A24, 30,000 btu heater in brand new condition.
NSN is 2540-00-113-4180.
I've got all the components hooked up on my test...
Finally working on the Mighty Mite "kit".
I've discovered I need a couple of things, & thought I'd check with you guys and see if you have, or know where to get them.
(Bensinger doesn't have them.)
2- #611 springs that hold the throwout bearing onto the fork
4- #2879 (short) brake shoe springs...
Okay, I know this is a long shot, but what the heck.
I have ALL parts necessary to add a winch to a Deuce, Everything in excellent condition.
I would like to get a COMPLETE setup to put a winch on my M813A1.
Anyone got a trade?
Thanks,
Eric CBVET
I guess my problem is similar to others', but not being a computer person I'm not sure.
I don't seem to be able to open links to past threads.
