Yes I Apologize for bringing things to this board.
Just thought it was low blow to call Awesomeness a liar and to prove he was making the product. Plus Rusty had no business doing so as I believe some lies might come to light on his part.
No believe someone flat towed the truck and removed the front drive shaft. Some how guess they also pulled the slip joint apart and don't know why they would. Then when someone that did not care or did not know what they were doing when it came time to put the drive shaft back in the machine...
Sorry about the black lettering messed up on the thread and I cut and pasted it.
As for the injector return line if you look at the way it runs into the overflow valve that can go from 30 psi to 70 psi fuel pressure. The injector returns have no pressure to push that air out with the 30/70...
The injector return line just seem to do that but it is not a problem if the truck is running fine and all injectors popping and sounding the same. One would thing that when they say injector return it should be moving fuel all the time and one would never see any air. Not always true. I believe...
Yep sticky "fuel control assembly" can cause cause more problems than we ever want. Wide open throttel being the worst.
I know the other member Allen his fuel control assembly that is installed in the head and controlling the plunger sleeve is moving free. We ran through it twice on install...
I do not see any dash plates with the D on my 97 M1088? Did they hide it? I did checked today and my front shaft did not have a weight and no play in the slip joint. Shaft to front tandem had a weight and no play in slip joint. Rear shaft no weight but some play in slip joint and hard to really...
Believe the cetane level was much higher the years the trucks were made. That is why I use a good product for lubricity and cetane booster. Yea rust from the secondary and final canisters can cause problems. I like the troubleshooting manual to run down engine performance problems. It seems to...
Not really a shut off valve in the IP. There is the fuel control assembly and the plunger sleeve that takes care of everything as far as fuel control. Ok as for particles from unfiltered fuel causing the engine cutting off when you come to a stop no I do not believe so. You had the problem...
If there is to much material here on the top flat it will never compress with the wrong ones. With his Polyurethane bushings he "is" making they fit perfect.
Think to keep the peace around here an apology to Awesomeness is in order.
Here is the axle tech grease seal # and link. I have loaned my hub tool out before if you want and we could talk about deposit. Yea Alaska is part of the U.S. and beautiful but to far to go looking for a tool. Utah is about my limit at my age. LOL...
Your knee deep in it now and the water is not over you head on this one I promise. I looked for replacement parts on the bay sight and they had some and even had small parts kits for what they call the seal anchor plunger. You might even get way using the old seal but myself I would replace. As...
Yes that inner grease seal can leak. No special tools to install a new one just a hammer and tap in straight.
Setting the hub back up with be the hardest thing. If you lived in the US I could send you my cut off hub tool and socket so you can set the gear lash. You will need a shim kit most...
Think I might try and make it. My best friend has his cabin on the side of a mountain around Wolf Town in Madison county. Looks like fun and only 10 miles away from him.
