Yep not disappointed and even a seven page instructions with pictures for the dummy impaired. This is above and beyond first class all the way. Thanks got mine in the mail today.
The grill should just fold forward and you don't have to remove the radiator. You can also remove the IP with the gear still on but you will have to remove it before installing the IP and replace the gear from the front side.
Myself if I am driving by the EGT gage I shift the automatic transmission myself before I let transmission do it. Same with a manual if you watching you temps then keep the RPM up higher than what you cruse at. If my temps don't run cool at close to the governor I turn down the fuel.
Since your learning to operate it a good thing to do is check all gear boxes before hand. Then give the turn table a good greasing which is very easy with two people just watch your step.

You can run it with the shut down cover off. Yep you can even run the rpm up with your finger on the fuel control to a higher RPM and higher pressure of between 30 Idle to 70 high idle. You can shut it down using your finger on the fuel control when done. No your not going to be able to see if...

I have some cables like that and I thought they were tinned copper. I did some good marine grade tinned copper wires when I up dated my boat. Much better corrosion resistant and you don't find the wire corrosion walking through the whole cable.
Here is a older thread and the funny looking filter inside the elbow is a filter. Myself I would clean it.
